World Gym Tuggerah is looking for a high-performing Membership Consultant who genuinely lives and breathes sales.

This is not a role for someone who simply takes enquiries and processes memberships. We are looking for a proven sales professional who loves the chase, knows how to build rapport quickly, follows up relentlessly and takes real pride in beating targets.

You will be the face of World Gym for prospective members turning leads, walk-ins and referrals into long-term members through exceptional service, high-energy club tours and confident closing.

About the role

As a Membership Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Converting leads, walk-ins, referrals and online enquiries into memberships

• Conducting engaging, personalised club tours that sell the World Gym experience

• Building strong rapport and understanding each prospect’s goals

• Following up every opportunity with urgency, consistency and purpose

• Working towards and exceedingly daily, weekly and monthly sales KPIs

• Creating local business and community relationships to generate new leads

• Supporting member retention through outstanding customer service

• Maintaining accurate notes, appointments and activity in our sales systems

• Contributing to a positive, energetic and high-performance club culture

About you

You are competitive, confident and commercially minded. You know that great sales is about listening well, solving the right problem and asking for the sale.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Extensive membership sales experience within a gym, health club or fitness environment

• A demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets

• Strong closing skills and confidence handling objections

• Exceptional communication, relationship-building and customer-service skills

• A high level of self-motivation, accountability and drive

• The discipline to follow up leads properly, no opportunity left behind

• Experience using CRM or membership-management systems

• A polished, professional presentation and a genuine passion for health and fitness

• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends where required
