Formwork Carpenters & Concreters

About the role

Simmons Civil Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our growing team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity for skilled tradespeople to contribute to the construction of major projects within the region.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret plans and engineered drawings

• Construct complex formwork, tie mesh and steel cages ensuring quality parameters are met

• Place and finish concrete within heavy industry

• Use the latest repair methods for concrete remediation projects

• Install large structures, bollards and buildings on-site

• Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications

• Adhere to site specific work health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

• Carpentry, steelfixing or concreting trade certificate or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated expertise in formwork construction and/or concrete placement

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

• Current white card and open manual drivers licence
