The Opportunity
Operating as the standalone HR Manager and a key member of the leadership team, you'll be responsible for providing both strategic and hands-on HR support across recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, leadership coaching, learning and development, HR operations and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
Supporting a workforce of both permanent and casual employees, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business while helping to drive a positive, high-performing and people-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
You'll provide support across a broad range of People & Culture activities including: Leading end-to-end recruitment across a broad portfolio of operational and corporate rolesPartnering with leaders on workforce planning, succession and capability initiativesProviding coaching and support across employee relations, investigations and performance management mattersAdvising on Awards, employment legislation and HR compliance requirementsDeveloping and maintaining HR policies, procedures and governance frameworksManaging learning and development initiatives, compliance training and leadership development programsOverseeing HR systems, reporting and workforce analyticsSupporting payroll administration, leave management and broader HR operationsManaging workers' compensation, return to work and wellbeing initiativesDriving employee engagement, recognition and culture-focused programsPartnering with leaders to support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
Previous experience operating in a standalone HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacityBroad generalist HR experience across both strategic and operational people activitiesDemonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance processesStrong understanding of Awards, employment legislation and workplace compliance requirementsExperience supporting both permanent and casual workforces within fast-paced operational environmentsStrong recruitment, workforce planning and stakeholder partnering capabilityExperience supporting payroll administration, workers' compensation and return to work processesConfidence coaching and influencing leaders across all levels of the organisationA hands-on and solutions-focused approachStrong relationship-building and communication skillsThe ability to operate autonomously while managing competing priorities
