This role

As a Data & Insights Analyst, you’ll be working with the Data Analytics & Insights Manager and aligned to a specific business domain (e.g. GTM, CX, Product) and will be instrumental in transforming how insights are delivered, consumed, and embedded across Employment Hero to deliver trusted, actionable intelligence at speed and help shape an AI-first future. Your key focus areas will be

• Delivering strategic, trusted, and actionable intelligence at speed to senior stakeholders
• Delivering reusable, scalable insight solutions and prompt-ready tools that drive impact across the business
• Enabling self-serve analytics and AI-literate decision-making across domain teams
• Productising insights with reuse, consistency, and speed in mind

This will include

• Partnering with cross-functional leads to deliver strategic recommendations through analysis, storytelling, and prompt-ready dashboards
• Designing and building Tableau visualisation layers and self-serve tools using curated, governed datasets
• Augmenting insight delivery using GPTs and AI tools, including developing prompt libraries and insight products for internal reuse
• Collaborating with Data Platforms to maintain trusted, observable, and AI-ready semantic layers and data models
• Owning and maintaining documentation, business logic, and metric definitions for your specific domain
• Translating ambiguous business questions into analytical briefs and driving a culture of insight reuse

Who you are

• To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring
• 5+ years in a data analytics or BI role (preferably in SaaS/tech) with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
• Advanced SQL skills with proven ability to query, analyse, model large datasets, and build trusted metric structures
• Expertise in data visualisation tools (preferably Tableau), dashboard design, UX best practices, and building self-serve tools
• Experience working with GPTs, LLM tools, AI workflows, or building prompt-friendly structures
• Mindset that treats data as a product: curated, documented, scalable, automated, and built for internal reuse
• Strong ownership, ability to navigate ambiguity, translate business questions into analytical briefs, and default to automation

The salary for this role is up to $125,000 + super.
