The Role:

This is a hands-on design role with real ownership. You'll work across both residential and commercial projects, from early concept through to documentation and contributing meaningfully at every stage. You'll be trusted to lead design on your own projects, collaborate with team members, and bring fresh thinking to how they work.

Day to day, you'll be:

• Meeting with clients to understand requirements

• Design elevations, floor plans, concepts and layouts

• Ensure designs comply with the NCC, R-codes and local planning requirements

• Presenting design options to clients

• Collaborating with other designers/draftspersons and contributing to a positive culture

About You:

You're a creative and technically capable designer who cares about the quality of your work. You have strong opinions about design but know how to listen. You're organised enough to manage multiple projects at once, and collaborative enough to make everyone around you better.

You'll bring:

• 3+ years of design experience either in an architectural practice or residential builder (If you're an senior draftsperson looking to step into a Design role, you will also be considered)

• Strong design skills across either residential and commercial typologies

• Proficiency in ArchiCAD and 4D Library

• Solid understanding of the NCC and R-codes, planning frameworks, and construction documentation

• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual

• A proactive attitude and the ability to manage your own workload
