About the role
The Meat & Wine Co is looking for experienced and dedicated Restaurant Hosts to become part of our professional and hard-working team. As the first point of contact for our restaurant, be the one to stand out with your exceptional customer service and high attention to detail.
Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. We love what we do and we do it with love. This is evident from the quality of our food and service to our commitment in the development of our people.
The successful applicants will have:
A minimum of 1 years' experience in guest services within the restaurant, hotel or tourism industry
Previous experience in an A La Carte environment an advantage
Cash handling experience
Greeting & Seating Guests
SevenRooms experience an Advantage
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
A genuine passion for food, people and the overall hospitality experience
Current RSA certificate
Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster
We're looking for the right applicant who is passionate about the industry and values being part of a supportive team. Our busy restaurant is conveniently located close to public transport and forms part of a large national group offering continued career growth and development
