About the role

We are looking for experienced drainers who can work confidently within a civil crew and take responsibility for progressing their work without requiring constant direction. We are seeking drainers who take pride in their work, understand civil drainage construction and can work effectively with operators and the wider crew.

Key responsibilities

• Work confidently within a civil crew

• Take responsibility for progressing work without requiring constant direction

• Work with pipework, pits and sewer drainage

• Read and understand civil and drainage drawings

• Work accurately to levels and grades

• Work around existing underground services

• Undertake excavation, bedding, pipe installation and backfilling

About you

• Proven experience as a Drainer within civil construction

• Strong experience with pipework, pits and sewer drainage

• Ability to read and understand civil and drainage drawings

• Confidence working accurately to levels and grades

• Experience working around existing underground services

• Good understanding of excavation, bedding, pipe installation and backfilling requirements

• White Card

• Current driver's licence

• Strong safety awareness and good communication skills

• WA based
