At Dott & Crossitt, we've been redefining the conveyancing experience since 2014. Known for our client-first approach and tech-forward mindset, we're now seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in Norwest. In this key support role, you'll work closely with senior conveyancers to ensure files progress smoothly from post-exchange through to settlement.
Manage and maintain client files and correspondence throughout the conveyancing process.
Conduct property searches and assist with preparing contracts, settlement figures and legal documentation.
Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and brokers to keep transactions on track.
Enter and manage data in PEXA, triConvey, and internal business systems.
Undertake and review property searches, land title checks and other relevant documentation.
Work independently and within a team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
Be a vital part of the team supporting successful, compliant settlements across NSW.
Assist other teams as required during high-volume months or periods of leave.
1-2 years' experience in a conveyancing, legal assistant or administrative support role.
Tech-savvy, confident using multiple digital platforms and software (triConvey or Smokeball highly regarded, not essential).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing tasks with confidence.
A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and strong sense of accountability.
Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude, communication is crucial in conveyancing!
Ability to organise and manage multiple files simultaneously, meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
Strong telephone manner to build positive, engaging relationships with clients and colleagues.
A desire to contribute to a workplace that values support, collaboration, and continuous growth.
$70,000 - $75,000 base salary + super, plus monthly performance-based bonus (after qualifying period).
