About the role
THE ROLE
As Senior Practice Adviser, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the Statewide Practice Leadership Unit within the Office of Professional Practice. The role promotes and supports the cultural safety and self-determination for Aboriginal children and families involved with the department through the provision of practice leadership, policy and practice development, and the implementation of key projects.
The role also engages with Aboriginal organisations and other key stakeholders to discuss service and system challenges and strengths and how these can support improve practice and service engagement and access with Aboriginal children and their families.
