Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson (ANZSCO 312111) Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis. Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist our Design Manager, Workshop Manager and Construction Site Manager in planning and coordinating architectural steel fabrication projects.
• Interpret architectural plans, specifications, building regulations and relevant codes of practice.
• Prepare preliminary sketches, shop drawings, working drawings and technical specifications using CAD software.
• Prepare, update and revise plans, layouts and fabrication drawings to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate drawing schedules and project documentation throughout the fabrication and installation process.
• Inspect fabricated work and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards and quality requirements.
• Calculate material quantities and assist in estimating project costs and timeframes.
• Collect site measurements and project data to support the preparation of accurate drawings.
• Perform routine calculations and prepare preliminary layouts to assist with project planning.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification
• At least 1 year of experience
• Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.
