Architectural Draftsperson

CP–HA (Christopher Paterson Heritage and Architecture) is an architectural practice predominantly working in the heritage and commercial refurbishment market in Western Australia. Duties include:
• Develop detailed architectural drawings and documentation from concept through to working drawings.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to refine and finalise project specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes and regulations.
• Participate in site visits and assessments to inform design modifications.
• Update and maintain project documentation and records accurately.•
• Utilise CAD and drafting software to create and modify design elements.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with team members to address design and construction challenges.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of drafting tasks.
Due to growth of the team, CP–HA are looking for an experienced architectural draftsperson to join the team. We are looking for a person with a minimum 2 - 4 years industry experience post graduation. We work on Apple Mac computers using ArchiCAD.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights including citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa.
The practice is located in South Perth, with excellent freeway and public transport links, and an abundance of cafes, pubs and restaurants. The studio has a gym, sauna and end of trip facilities and custom fit-out to suit collaborative work.
The position is a full time studio based role, with site visits. The start date to be agreed between the applicant and CP–HA.
The salary range is $75,000 - $100,000 per annum commensurate with experience and suitability.
