Cashier/Night Fill Staff

We’re looking for friendly and reliable team members to join our IGA supermarket in a Cashier / Night Fill Staff role.

IGA Ashfield

Role 1: Cashier

What you’ll be doing

• Operating POS systems, cash and card transactions
• Delivering helpful and friendly service to every customer
• Assisting with stock management (rotating stock to ensure freshness (FIFO)), receiving deliveries, and maintaining store presentation (pulling down and replenishing shelves with reserve stock) etc.
• Keeping the store clean, safe, and welcoming

What we’re looking for

• Previous supermarket or retail experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, organised, punctual and able to work independently
• A friendly, positive team player

This role is perfect for students or those starting out in retail who enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Role 2: Night Fill Staff

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and unpacking deliveries
• Pulling down and replenishing shelves with reserve stock
• Rotating stock to ensure freshness (FIFO)
• Keeping aisles/store clean, neat, safe, and well-presented

What we’re looking for:

• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
• Able to work evenings
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• No prior experience required – full training provided

This role is ideal for juniors, school leavers, or those starting their retail career.
