Behind every stunning cake is a clean, organised, and smooth-running commercial kitchen and cake studio where teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for quality come together.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a reliable, proactive all-rounder commercial kitchen and administration assistant to support the backbone of our operations.

1.      Essential Skills & Focus (General Kitchen and Admin)

• Kitchen Sanitation & Maintenance: Keeping all baking pans, delicate piping tips, mixing bowls, equipment, and work surfaces impeccably clean and sanitized.

• High Hygiene & Safety Standards: Strict adherence to food safety protocols, proper handling of ingredients, and maintaining cross-contamination controls (especially regarding our vegan and allergen-friendly range).

• Prep & Inventory Support: Assisting with daily kitchen setup, dishwashing, waste management, restocking pantry staples, and organizing cake boxes and packaging.

• Efficiency & Initiative: Strong organizational skills with the ability to work neatly and efficiently during busy event prep schedules.

• Reliability & Communication: Punctual, collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic and pride in maintaining a clean baking environment.

• A-grade customer communications and General Business Administration Duties

2.      Desirable Skills & Focus (Cake Baking & Decorating)

• Cake Baking: Experience scaling recipes, preparing batters, and baking cake layers accurately in a commercial kitchen setting.

• Intricate Decorating & Piping: Basic-to-intermediate skills in crumb coating, buttercream smoothing, piping detail work, or working with fondant and cake assembly.

• Specialty Dietary Baking: Experience or familiarity with vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free baking methods.

What we are offering

Fixed shifts available on Thursdays and Fridays at award rates.
