Machine Operator / Mixer – Morning Shift (Food Factory)

A well-established confectionery manufacturer known for producing a wide range of sweets and treats. Based in Oakleigh, they are looking for experienced Machine Operator / Production Cooks to join their team on the morning and afternoon shift, with an immediate start and ongoing work available.

• Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM

• Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $33.05 – $38.93 per hour

• Training: Start with 2–3 weeks of training as a Packer, learning the production process and site requirements before progressing into the Machine Operator role.

• Prepare and cook confectionery products in line with recipes, batch instructions and production requirements

• Accurately measure and mix ingredients to maintain product consistency and quality

• Operate and assist with cooking, processing and production equipment

• Monitor cooking and production processes to ensure products meet quality standards

• Perform routine checks and report any issues with equipment or product quality

• Follow strict food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

• Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, trays and production areas

• Assist with packing, handling and other general production duties as required

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized production environment

• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines
