University of Tasmania
About the role
The University of Tasmania acknowledges the Palawa/Pakana and Gadigal/Wangal people as the traditional custodians of the land, sea and waters of the areas upon which we live and work. We recognise their valuable contributions and deep connection to country and pay respect to Elders past and present.
About the opportunity
As Commercial Projects Manager, Property and Assets, you will lead the identification, development and delivery of strategic commercial projects across the University's property and asset portfolio. Working across all campuses, you will play a key role in maximising the value, utilisation and commercial performance of University assets while supporting long-term institutional objectives.
You will be responsible for managing commercialisation initiatives from concept through to implementation, including opportunity identification, feasibility analysis, business case development, deal structuring, negotiation and project delivery. Drawing on strong commercial and financial expertise, you will provide advice on commercial, financial, contractual and property matters, ensuring projects deliver sustainable value and revenue outcomes.
The role requires extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty and professional staff, students, industry partners, consultants and tenants.
