These are ongoing workshop-based opportunities offering immediate starts with a well-established company in Thomastown.

• Assemblers: $38/hr + penalties
• Electrical Trade Assistants: $42/hr + penalties
• Monday to Friday | 6:00am–2:00pm

Switchboard Assemblers

Working within the production team, you'll assemble switchboards and switch room components for large-scale data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial switchboards and switch room components
• Cut, bend and install heavy copper busbar
• Read and interpret assembly drawings
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Maintain high-quality workmanship

Electrical Trade Assistants

This role is ideal for experienced Electrical TAs or overseas qualified electricians with switchboard experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install heavy copper busbar systems
• Read electrical plans and schematics
• Assist with switchboard assembly
• Support qualified tradespeople
• Maintain a safe and organised workshop

About You

Switchboard Assemblers

• Experience in switchboard or metal assembly
• Hand and power tool experience
• Copper/busbar experience highly regarded
• Basic maths and measuring skills
• Own PPE and basic hand tools

Electrical Trade Assistants

• Switchboard or electrical workshop experience
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Copper/busbar experience preferred
• Overseas electrical trade qualifications highly regarded
• Own PPE and basic hand tools
