About the role
Commune Group is looking for talented Chefs de Partie to join the team at our Hanoi Hannah restaurant in Elsternwick, Victoria. These are part-time roles, with the opportunity to move to permanent full-time positions. You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment that serves delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
What you'll be doing
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in all food preparation and cooking duties
Ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards and in line with the restaurant's recipes and presentation
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Participating in menu development and providing ideas for new dishes
Supporting the kitchen team as required to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers
What we're looking for
1-2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen
Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and flavours is highly desirable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to food quality
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Food safety and hygiene certification
