If you’re enthusiastic about quality, eager to learn, and ready to grow your career in a dynamic, high-risk product manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! This role is based on the afternoon shift, and you’ll have the unique opportunity to become an integral part of our Quality team.
Reporting directly to our Quality Systems Manager, you’ll receive comprehensive training to master our company’s SQF program and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary quality contact for the afternoon shift.
Lead the afternoon quality control officers.
Carry out internal audits and verification tasks as required by internal systems.
Investigate consumer complaints as required.
Raise NCRs for system failures and ensure thorough investigation and close out of actions.
Food Safety and Quality related activities such as supplier compliance.
Maintain QA records as per the QMS and legal requirements.
Lead continuous improvement projects or activities as required.
Work closely with other departments to reinforce food safety and quality expectations, supporting team members with guidance and on-the-job learning where needed.
About You:
Have a tertiary qualification in Food Technology/Science and a good working knowledge of manufacturing operations with minimum 5 years’ experience.
High level of integrity.
Ability to lead with sound knowledge and experience in team building.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Quality Management and Food Safety Systems.
SQF practitioner, Internal Auditor and HACCP training desirable.
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
