Funeral Arranger/Administration

About the role

A detail-oriented and empathic Funeral Arranger/Office Administrator. This is a key role responsible for guiding families through the funeral arrangement process with professionalism, care and compassion. The role requires flexibility and commitment to after hours, weekend and on-call work.

Key responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.

• Liaise with families, suppliers and internal staff to coordinate funeral arrangements.

• Book funeral services, venues, vehicles and associated logistics.

• Prepare and check funeral service paperwork.

• Register and manage related documentation with Government authorities.

• Participate in the after hours and weekend on-call roster.

• You may be required to assist with the physical requirements of the role including lifting, transferring, and moving of the deceased.

About you

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

• High level of professionalism and empathy with grieving families.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills including time management.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite and Google platforms.

• All round office skills.

• Possess a current drivers licence.
