Disability Support Worker - Merrylands - (Female Workers Preferred)

About the role 

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who live in and around the Merrylands area to support a 44 year-old ventilated female who needs care in order to live independently within the family home.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Medication administration 
• Use of mobility equipment
• Light Domestic assistance 
• Special meal preparation and Community participation 
• Assistance with Therapy Tasks
• Personal Care Tasks
• Management of Tracheostomy and PEG feeding​

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

What you need:

• Current references
• Mobile phone 
• Current driver's license and your own car
• NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory) 
• First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
• Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing 
• Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (Paid (mandatory))
• Cert III or equivalent
