About the role
Mandurah Outboards is seeking a service advisor to manage its servicing and repairs operations. As the service advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the marine servicing division, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. This is a full-time position based in Mandurah, Western Australia.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the marine servicing department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
Ensure all servicing and repair work is carried out to the highest standard and in a timely manner
Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide updates on the status of their vessels
Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary parts and equipment
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
What we're looking for
Experience in a marine servicing or workshop management role
Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, components, and repair procedures
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
Proficient in using marine servicing software and inventory management systems
