The situation

People in your region need supported independent living, and very few registered providers can deliver it properly. The result is people in housing that doesn't suit them, plans full of supports they can't access, and families holding it together alone.

We're looking for someone who has run SIL well and wants to build it here.

The work

You've run houses, so you know it isn't about occupancy. It's whether the worker on shift tonight understands the behaviour support plan. Whether the roster gives someone consistency with people they trust, or a rotating cast of strangers in their home.

You'd be establishing and running SIL houses, delivering high-intensity and complex supports, and building a support team you've chosen and developed yourself. Around 300 participants in this region are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, so culturally safe support is central to doing this properly, not an add-on.

You'd have genuine authority over how supports are delivered — the rosters, the team, the standards.

Highly regarded: establishing new SIL houses from scratch; work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities; aged care; support coordination.

Remuneration

$90,000 base + super + $8,000 car allowance30% profit share on your business unit, paid quarterly and annuallyYear 1 typically $120,000-$200,000; Year 2 onwards $200,000-$300,000+
