Junior Family Lawyer

I am currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Family Lawyer to join their team and be mentored by the very best. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent law graduate or someone with a few years of experience to gain valuable exposure to all aspects of family law.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior lawyers with a range of family law matters, including divorce, separation, child custody, property division, and spousal maintenance.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and draft correspondence.
• Attend client meetings, take instructions, and provide legal advice.
• Liaise with clients to keep them informed of the progress of their case.
• Assist with preparation for court appearances (as your experience grows).
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Skills and experience:

• Admitted to practice law in Victoria.
• Strong academic record in law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Empathy and understanding of the sensitivities involved in family law matters.
